I am deeply passionate about coming alongside others on their faith journey, facilitating the discovery of answers, and nurturing their relationship with God. Spiritual direction can be a much-needed exhale after years of holding your breath.
I wholeheartedly believe that every individual, regardless of where they find themselves on their faith journey, can be profoundly changed through the practice of holy listening, whether in a group setting or in one-on-one sessions with a spiritual director.
WHAT IS Making Way?
Making Way is a pastoral care ministry that exists to quiet the noise so we can learn to listen—to God, to ourselves, and to others. Through pastoral care, spiritual direction, and soul care groups, this ministry offers a gentle path toward spiritual formation—not through striving, but through surrender.
Like a sailboat carried by the wind, spiritual life isn’t powered by effort alone—it’s about learning to trust the steady current of the Spirit. As we make way and create space, transformation unfolds.
At its heart, Making Way is about gently quieting the noise so we can create space to hear the tender voice of God..
SOUL CARE GROUPS
FALL 2025
Small gatherings of 3–4 women, Making way is a pastoral care ministry for women’s spiritual formation that offers an unhurried space for spiritual growth, deeper intimacy with God, and soul friendship. Together, we quiet the noise, slow down, and learn to notice God’s presence in the messy, beautiful everyday!
Group Details
Group spiritual direction is a small circle of people listening for God together. One person shares what’s on their heart, while the rest listen—without trying to fix or give advice. Along the way, we ask gentle, open questions that help one another notice where God might be at work in our lives.
We meet once a month, September 2025–May 2026, on Monday or Tuesday evenings from 6:30–8:30 p.m. We gather in my home in Franklin, enjoying coffee, tea, and light snacks. Each session is $75 and grounded in the practice of group spiritual direction.
